Clarksville Parks and Recreation releases Veterans Day Holiday Schedule

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation facilities will have adjusted hours of operation Wednesday, November 11th to accommodate students in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and their holiday schedule.

The Indoor Aquatic Center will be open from 7:00am to 8:00pm on Veterans Day.

The Kleeman, Crow and Burt-Cobb Centers will be open from 10:00am to 7:00pm. Visitors can enjoy the gym, racquetball court, game room, or computer lab, depending on which center they choose to visit.

The Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, will be open from 7:00am to 8:00pm. Wibit access is free every Wednesday, so visitors can enjoy the inflatable obstacle course, “The Aqua Run Wibit,” and the “AquaClimb” climbing wall at no additional charge.

Fort Defiance Civil War Park and Interpretive Center, located at 120 Duncan Street, will be open from 10:00am to 4:00pm for visitors to learn about the Civil War in Tennessee and explore local history. See examples of Civil War weaponry and period clothing, examine and interpret maps, and view a 16-minute film.

Additionally the Parks and Recreation Main Office, located at 102 Public Square, will be closed Wednesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day.
