Fright on Franklin Costume Contest Registration Now Available

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The 8th Annual Fright on Franklin, presented by The City of Clarksville and Altra Federal Credit Union, will take place on Saturday, October 29th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm in Downtown Clarksville.

This free, family-friendly event is for adults and kids of all ages and will feature safe trick-or-treating, a hayride, costume contests, and much more!

Once again, pre-registration for the costume contests is required. There will be no registration the day of the event.

Contest participants can register online now through October 27th at the Clarksville Parks and Recreation office (102 Public Square) or online at www.cityofclarksville.com/fright

The contest is free to enter. Register early; there are a limited number of spots per category.

Categories include Newborn to two-years-old at 3:15pm, three- to six-years-old at 3:45pm, seven- to nine-years-old at 4:15pm, 10- to 12-years-old at 4:45pm, and group costumes at 5:15pm. Preference will be given to original costumes in all age categories. Registrants are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time to check-in. All costumes should be in good taste and appropriate for a family event.

Fright on Franklin will also feature 70 trick-or-treat booths, pumpkin bowling, a hayride, photo booth and food vendors! Like us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/clarksvilleparksandrec) for inside information on all the upcoming festivities.
