37th Annual Queen City Road Race is this Saturday

Clarksville, TN – The 37th Annual Queen City Road Race, scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd, is quickly approaching and there is still time to register!

Registration can be completed in person or online. Online registration can be completed at www.cityofclarksville.com/qcrr and is available until noon on Friday, May 1st.

Participants registering in person may come by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Office at 102 Public Square, Clarksville, Tennessee, 37040 through Friday, May 1st or register onsite at Austin Peay’s Governors Stadium the morning of Saturday, May 2nd.

For those registered in the 5K, 7K, and One Mile Movement, packets will be available for early pickup from 9:00am until 5:30pm on Thursday, April 30th and Friday, May 1st. Packets not picked up by 5:30pm on May 1st will be available at Governors Stadium beginning at 7:00am on Saturday, May 2nd.

Be aware that as the 5K and 7K race routes take runners through the streets of Historic Downtown Clarksville, there will be several road closures to accommodate the safety of the runners on Saturday, May 2nd.

The south bound lane of North 2nd Street to Main Street will be closed as well as the eastbound lane of College Street, and University Avenue to 8th Street. Additional closures include Henry Street and the Dunn Center parking lot on the side facing Governors Stadium.

The 37th Annual Queen City Road Race is presented by the City of Clarksville and Cumberland Bank and Trust and is sponsored by Austin Peay State University, the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, Tennessee Coordinated School Health, WJZM, and Lamar Advertising.
