Clarksville BBQ Bash next Saturday at Liberty Park
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, October 29th, 2019, the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will host its 3rd barbecue contest “Clarksville BBQ Bash” at 10:00am at Liberty Park located at 1188 Cumberland Drive.
Participating teams comprised of multiple people or an individual from near and far will compete to see who has the best BBQ and for a total of $5,000 in cash prizes! Competitors will cook chicken, pork ribs and pork butt. Interested in competing? Register online at www.CityofClarksville.com/BBQBash by Monday, October 14th, 2019.

The Clarksville BBQ Bash hosted by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will be held at Liberty Park on Saturday, October 29th.
Attendees can pre-register or register at the event for $30.00 per team to participate in the American Corn Hole League (ACL) cornhole tournament sponsored by Appleton’s Harley Davidson.
Shop from a variety of local artisan vendors and pick a pumpkin from Blocker Farms’ pumpkin patch.
Free kids activities include water balloon battleship, pumpkin launch with APSU, an electric motorcycle course, inflatables, a game center, and exploring inside a Clarksville Police Department patrol car.
Barbecue will be available for purchase from Excell Market and BBQ, Gray Smoke Barbecue, Legends Smokehouse & Grill, LLC, Bench Clearing BBQ, and Memaw’s Kitchen. Kona Ice of Greater Clarksville will also be on site. Beer will be available for purchase, courtesy of Coors Lite. All beer proceeds will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville.
BBQ Bash attendees are invited to visit the Queener Law People’s Choice tent to sample barbecue for free at 1:30pm from participating BBQ Bash teams and vote for their favorite! (Limited to the first 100 people.) The winner will be announced during half time and will receive a cash prize.
