Clarksville Chamber of Commerce Announces Warrior Week 2016 Schedule

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee has announced that Warrior Week 2016 will be held on May 5th, 6th and 7th, sponsored by First Advantage Bank.

This annual celebration honors all local military men, women, and their families by providing free events and activities for the entire family.

The schedule is as follows

May 5th

• 1:00pm – Godfather Golf Tournament at Clarksville Country Club. Sponsored by USAA
• 7:00pm – Movie Night at Regal Cinema – showing Captain America.
  Free for all military ID card holders. Children of soldiers without ID need to be accompanied by an adult military ID cardholder. First come, first served.
  Sponsored by Fortera Credit Union.

May 6th

• 5:30pm – Eternal Flame Ceremony, 1 Public Square. The Eternal Flame honors the fallen soldiers of past and present wars.

May 7th

• 11:00am–2:00pm – Car, Truck & Bike Show at Heritage Park.
  Participation is for Active Duty Military and Veterans (with a Military ID, DD-214 and/or members of the American Legion, DAV & VFW with membership cards).
  Pre-registration is free until May 5th at noon. On-site registration is $10.00 per car, cash only. Sponsored by the City of Clarksville.
• 2:00pm – Tobacco Stick Softball Game at Heritage Park. Fort Campbell vs. Clarksville-Montgomery County.
