Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan introduces Clarksville TV

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan is introducing a new opportunity to learn more about Clarksville through the City’s new cable television channel.

“CDE Lightband customers may have noticed a new addition a couple of months ago. Channel 3 on CDE Lightband is Clarksville TV.”

The City has been testing the channel for a few months. Currently, citizens with CDE Lightband cable service can watch Clarksville City Council meetings, get public service announcements and find information about the latest events and offerings around the City.

“As we move forward, we will be providing more original content and we hope to be able to deliver live, real-time streaming of the City Council Meetings,” said the Mayor. “We would also like to provide the service and content to customers of other cable services and are researching those options.”

“I want to make information about the City of Clarksville available to everyone and in as many formats as possible. I’m very excited about our Channel 3, Clarksville TV, and I look forward to increasing our options to make our City’s government the most transparent and open in the State of Tennessee,” said the Mayor.
