Mic Check Monday features Hard Luck Revelers, G.F. Lott, Sons of Mary tonight

Clarksville, TN – Mic Check Monday concert series will feature two Pop/Rock bands and a reading on June 24th, 2019 at Downtown Commons. Concerts will take place each Monday in June and July.

Opening the event at 6:00pm is Hard Luck Revelers. The group is new together, but their rhythm section is from Fleetwood Mac tribute band Gypsy. You’ll hear classic rock and dance music.

At 7:15pm, spoken word performer G.F. Lott, a poet and science-fantasy/horror story writer, will read with background music.

Influenced by the Beatles, E.L.O., Elton John, Joni Mitchell, Sons of Mary will take the stage at 7:30pm. Led by Duane Rice, the group’s latest album, Retro-Active, was released March 2018.

Presented by Visit Clarksville, CDE Lightband, and Downtown Commons, Mic Check Monday will offer different genres of music each Monday in June and July. All concerts will begin at 6:00pm when weather allows.

No food or drink will be offered on-site. Guests may bring food and chairs, but no alcohol is allowed in the park.

Downtown Commons is located at 215 Legion Street in Downtown Clarksville.
