Celebrate the holidays and enjoy free activities and entertainment at Christmas on the Cumberland

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department invites children of all ages to visit Christmas on the Cumberland at the McGregor Park Riverwalk for fun, family-friendly activities.

Visitors can enjoy holiday-themed crafts and performances by local choirs and dance groups as well as enjoy a photo opportunity with Santa on December 10th and December 17th from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

See below for a schedule of activities:

Saturday, December 10th – Kids are invited to make a reindeer candy cane and bag to match! All materials provided. Limited quantities available. Warm up with free hot chocolate served by Grace Community Church and performances by Natalie’s Dance Network, Dance Force LLC and Life in Technicolor. Food will be available for purchase on site from Big City Dogs.

Saturday, December 17th – Kids are invited to decorate their own Christmas potholder! All materials provided. Limited quantities available. Enjoy free hot chocolate served by Frontier Basement Systems. Don’t miss performances by Acro Dance Express, Dance Force LLC, Gateway Cast and Crowns and Life in Technicolor. Food will be available for purchase on site from Fire & Ice.

About Christmas on the Cumberland

Christmas on the Cumberland, the City’s popular lighted walk-through event, features over one-million lights displayed at McGregor Park located at 640 North Riverside Drive. It is open nightly from 5:00pm-10:00pm Sunday through Thursday, and 5:00pm-11:00pm Fridays and Saturdays through January 1st, 2017.
