Southeast Tourism Society Selects the Rivers and Spires Festival as a ‘Top 20 Event’

Travel industry organization has saluted region’s best events since 1985

Clarksville, TN – The Southeast Tourism Society has named Clarksville’s Rivers & Spires Festival one of the STS Top 20 Event in the Southeast for April 2016.

This year’s Rivers and Spires Festival is scheduled for April 14th-16th, 2016. The STS Top 20 Festival and Event Awards have highlighted programs around the Southeast since 1985.

Travel industry experts select 20 events per month, and STS publicizes them throughout the United States. The complete list is published on two websites: EscapeToTheSoutheast.com and Travel Media Press Room.

Fun, family-friendly and always free, the award winning Rivers and Spires Festival is among the largest of its kind in the Southeast. The formula is simple: mix a healthy dose of local culture with arts and heritage and activities for all ages. Then, spread all the music you can hear in two days across multiple stages throughout the streets historic downtown Clarksville, Tennessee.

The name Rivers and Spires honors the beauty of our downtown skyline, featuring the Cumberland River and a historic downtown dotted with churches, a courthouse, museum and other incredible buildings.
