CDE Lightband to hold Customer EXPO this Saturday, October 3rd

Clarksville, TN – CDE Lightband is bringing Customer EXPO back this Saturday, October 3rd from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Wilma Rudolph Events Center, located at 1190 Cumberland Drive at Liberty Park.

All CDE Lightband customers are invited to come out and enjoy a free lunch and learn more about their local public power and broadband utility.

There will be a high voltage electric safety demonstration, energy saving seminars, a state of the art living room show casing CDE Lightband video and streaming capabilities, and fun-filled activities for the kids.

CDE Lightband line workers will also be on hand demonstrating pole climbing and equipment they use to protect themselves while working on energized lines.

CDE Lightband officials say that the last Customer EXPO, held in 2008, had outgrown its former venue at the CDE Lightband office on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. “The Wilma Rudolph Events Center provides us the necessary space we need to really highlight what it is we do for the citizens of Clarksville”, says Brian Taylor, CDE Lightband general manager.

“From showcasing the newest hybrid bucket truck technology to the incredible quality of our broadband services with a 4K ultra TV, we are more excited about this EXPO than any before. It’s a great opportunity for us to show our customers how much we appreciate their business, while educating them on essentially everything we do,” Taylor adds.
