Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce August Events

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce announces upcoming events during the month of August.

On August 7th from 7:00am-9:00am, Uffleman Estates, 215 Uffleman Drive, will be hosting a Business Before Hours. Please join the Chamber for food and networking.

The Clarksville Young Professionals will welcome Congressman Marsha Blackburn on August 7th as their special guest speaker at the 12:00pm monthly meeting at the Chamber Office, 25 Jefferson Street.

Blackburn will be on hand to discuss issues that directly affect our community, economy and businesses. The event is free for all CYP members to attend and lunch will be provided by Cumberland Bank & Trust.

The Chamber will be hosting a Workers’ Comp Seminar on August 13th from 9:00am to noon at the Chamber Office, 25 Jefferson Street. This will serve as an excellent opportunity to learn about what the major legislative changes to the workers’ comp law could mean for you and your business. The cost is $59.00 for Chamber members. The Chamber’s Business after Hours will be held on August 15th from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Join the Chamber at the APSU Governors Club – Pace Alumni Center at Emerald Hill, 751 North Second Street for food, networking, door prizes and fun. This event is offered at no cost to Chamber members.

Join us for the Third Annual Clarksville-Montgomery County Growth Summit on August 28th, from 8:00am to noon at the William O. Beach Civic Hall, 350 Pageant Lane. During this half-day event, leaders in economic development will be on hand to discuss growth and changes in our community and Deputy Governor Claude Ramsey will serve as the keynote speaker.
