Clarksville Academy’s Blake Rowlett Signs with Faulkner University

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Academy, a Pre-K through 12th grade private college preparatory school, is pleased to announce the signing of Blake Rowlett to Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL. Blake has played baseball at CA for the past 4 years.

Head of Schools Kay Drew, “I am always proud to see our students set goals for themselves and work to achieve them. We couldn’t be more proud of Blake and his success.” Blake has had many accomplishments on the field, including being a starting short stop on the varsity team for four years.

During his 2011 season, Blake was named to The Leaf Chronicle’s 1st team All Area, named CA’s Most Valuable Player, he was also named to All District Teams in 2010 & 2011 as well as All Area Team in 2010 & 2011. The Cougars were District Champions in ’09, ’10 and ’11 and competed in the Regional Tournament each of those years.

Blake has also competed in travel ball with the Impact Adidas team in 2009-2010 and with the Nashville Knights in 2010-2011. Blake will join Faulkner in August.

Blake is the son of Robb and Brittney Rowlett of Clarksville and Dina Fowler also of Clarksville, TN. He is the grandson of Jim and Vicki Rowlett of Paris TN, Steve and Brenda Brannan of Birmingham, AL and Clayton and Anita Sikes of Springfield, TN.
