America’s favorite park will win $100,000

Vote for Heritage Park

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is asking park-goers to vote for their favorite parks. Heritage Park is in the running for a $100,000 prize, but it needs votes, lots of votes!

Parks that receive the most votes will receive grants as part of Coca-Cola’s “America Is Your Park” national campaign to restore, rebuild or enhance our parks.

Participants can vote for Heritage Park as many times as they want between now and September 6th, online at www.livepositively.com by selecting Heritage Park from an interactive map, or by uploading photos to the site, or by “checking-in” to a park on Facebook.

One point is given for online votes while five points are given for uploading photos or checking-in on Facebook as an incentive to get people out and visit parks. All voting will continue through September 6th.

Heritage Park, located at 1241 Peachers Mill Road, sits on 104 acres and includes soccer fields, eight lighted softball and baseball fields, basketball courts and a skate park. The grounds also feature an off-leash dog park, three pavilions, picnic tables, playground equipment and concession/restroom facilities.
