Doors will open at 5:00pm, and the gala will commence promptly at 6:00pm and conclude at 9:00pm. This year’s theme, “The Coming to America Experience,” promises an evening of culture, celebration, and community impact.
The gala aims to raise funds for our vital mental health and community bridging initiatives, supporting the well-being of Black women and our community. Attendees will enjoy a night filled with inspiring stories and performances, while honoring outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions in civic, social, economic, and health and wellness sectors for women and the Black community.

Roxy Regional Theatre Celebrates 42 Years with Gala Event set for October 5th

Clarksville, TN – The Roxy Regional Theatre, Clarksville’s oldest professional theatre, is celebrating 42 years of live theatre in the heart of historic Downtown Clarksville with Gala 42, an evening of fine food, art, music, dancing, and revelry on Saturday, October 5th, 2024.
Presented by the DoubleTree by Hilton Clarksville Riverview, this year’s fundraiser will be held in the Cypress Ballroom of the hotel’s newly renovated downtown location at 50 College Street.
Gala 42 will begin at 6:00pm with cocktails and a silent auction featuring diverse and original works by area artists and specialty gift baskets.
Fort Defiance to hold Sevier Days on September 14th

Clarksville, TN – Fort Defiance Interpretive Center is excited to announce the return of its annual event, Sevier Days, a living history event on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
This educational and entertaining event will feature Native American and frontier re-enactors showcasing various activities, including flint knapping, an authentic blacksmith operation, frontier camp life, and flintlock musket firing. The Traveling Caudells will also be performing period music during the event.

F2Con Gaming Convention Kicks Off Weekend of High-Stakes Competition and Casual Fun in Clarksville

Clarksville, TN – F2CON, Clarksville’s highly anticipated annual gaming convention, opened its doors on Friday night at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, kicking off a weekend packed with competitive and casual gaming. For the first time in the event’s history, the convention began on a Friday evening at 7:00pm, drawing hundreds of gamers and spectators from across the region.
Hosted by CDE Lightband and Visit Clarksville, F2CON, which began in 2018, has quickly grown into a staple event for the local gaming community. This year’s convention features an impressive $10,000 total prize pool, drawing competitive gamers from across the country. Registration for the competitive tournaments is set at $50.00, with an additional $5.00 fee per game. Casual gamers can enjoy the weekend for a flat rate of $15.00.
