Austin Peay State University offers free Art + Design Day for aspiring art students

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) Department of Art + Design will host its annual College Art + Design Day for high school students at 9:00am-3:00pm Saturday, February 15th, in the APSU Art + Design Building.

The free event allows students interested in studying art to take workshops similar to those at Austin Peay State University to try out the major before having to commit to it.

The day concludes with a portfolio review, and each year some high school seniors are offered scholarships based on their portfolios.

Parents and teachers also are invited to attend.
