Austin Peay HR executive director Sheraine Gilliam-Holmes to serve on CUPA-HR board of directors

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) executive director and chief human resources officer Sheraine Gilliam-Holmes has been selected to serve a three-year term on the board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR).

She will join the board on July 1st, 2019.

Gilliam-Holmes has been a member since 2013, serving as president and communications chair of the CUPA-HR New York Metro Chapter, at-large member of the Eastern Region board of directors and member of CUPA-HR’s national Professional Development Committee.

Because of her initiative within the association and her demonstrated desire to play an active role in advancing the higher ed HR profession, Gilliam-Holmes was selected as an Emerging CUPA-HR Leader for the Eastern Region in 2016.

Gilliam-Holmes has worked in human resources for 17 years. Prior to her role at Austin Peay State University, she served as university director, among other roles, at the City University of New York system.
