Gambill will serve as the Vice-Chairman and assume the position of Chairman in July 2015. Bates was elected to serve as the secretary/treasurer for the 2014-15 term.

“The Aspire Foundation has elected exceptional leadership to the Board this year and I am looking forward to being a part of the strategic work that will continue to improve Clarksville-Montgomery County for all our citizens,” said Stuard, Chair of the Foundation Board.

The Aspire Foundation, a privately-funded economic development and community marketing initiative for Clarksville-Montgomery County, Tennessee, is currently closing out its fifth fundraising campaign. The monies pledged will help to fund initiatives that move the economic landscape of Clarksville-Montogmery County forward.

Currently, the Aspire V “Focus On The Future” Campaign has reached just under $4 million in cash investments.

As part of the annual budget process, a 35-person Steering Committee of the Foundation makes recommendations for priorities to be considered by the Board. The member-investors meet routinely in order to discuss business of the Foundation and trends in economic development.

The Steering Committee rotates its members on an annual basis so that each investor has the opportunity to serve over the five year campaign.
