Clarksville Downtown Market Dog Days this Saturday, September 28th

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, September 28th, 2013, local residents, visitors and their pets are invited to join the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County and other pet-related vendors and organizations for Dog Days being held in conjunction with the Clarksville Downtown Market (Public Square at Main Street).

The event will start at 8:00am and go until 1:00pm.

Be sure to stop by the Humane Society booth in the lower parking lot for

• Adoptable Pets
• Pet-themed T-shirts & Tote Bags
• Paw Painting for the Pooches
• Face Painting for the Kiddos
• FREE Dog Biscuits
• HSCMC Magazines
• Memorial Brick Order Forms
• and more

The Humane Society is looking for several volunteers for this event. If you can help, please email humanesociety@clarksville.com no later than Noon on Thursday and sign up for one of the following:

• 7:30am-10:30am (includes setup)
• 10:30am-1:30pm (includes teardown)
• Or Both

Flexibility is greatly appreciated for ease of scheduling. Help is needed in the following areas:

• Face Painting for Kids – No experience required. Simple paw prints, nose & whiskers, etc.
• Paw Painting – Help dogs find their inner artist using paint & paper.
• HSCMC & Spay-Neuter Clarksville! Informational Table – answer questions about Humane Society programs, services, etc.
• Retail Table – assist attendees with purchasing T-shirts, tote bags, etc.
• Foster Dogs –help with foster dogs with potty breaks, walks, watering, etc.

Chairs and cold bottled water will be available to volunteers for FREE. There is an indoor restroom nearby as well.
