Clarksville-Montgomery County Convention and Visitors Bureau announces New Board of Directors

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is pleased to announce Carolyn Pierce, City President, Regions Bank, as the Chairman of the 2013-2014 Board of Directors.

Steven Stroman has also been appointed as the Chair-Elect and will serve as the Chairperson for the 2014-2015 term.

The CVB board members are: The Honorable Geno Grubbs, City of Clarksville; Mr. Steven Stroman, Batson Nolan; Ms. Toni Johnson, former hotelier & EDC Board member; The Honorable Jerry Allbert, Montgomery County Parks; Ms. Lee Persinger, Jostens Printing & Publishing; Ms. Pennie Smith, Courtyard By Marriott; Rev. Mickey Richaud, Trinity Episcopal Parish and Ms. Jan Roberts, Legends Bank.

“I am looking forward to another great year working with the CVB and the members of the Board,” said Pierce. “The work of the CVB is invaluable and a huge driving force in bringing in multi-million dollar impact events for this community. Each event the CVB hosts or promotes helps bring in vital revenue dollars to support the healthy economy of the city-county.”

Rev. Mickey Richaud and Jan Roberts will serve on the Economic Development Council Board during FY14 as representatives of the CVB.
