Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce September Events

Clarksville Area Chamber of CommerceClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce announces upcoming events during the month of September.

The Clarksville Young Professionals will be hosting a New Member Social on Thursday, September 6th from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Hooters, 750 North Riverside Drive. This event is sponsored by DBS & Associates and will also serve as an informal meeting for those unable to attend the regularly scheduled monthly lunch meetings. On Thursday, September 13th from 9:00am–3:00pm, the Chamber will be hosting the Political Forums for the delegates running in the upcoming November election. These forums will be held at the APSU Music/Mass Communication Building’s television studio and will be televised on channel 9 and 12.

The Chamber’s Business after Hours will be held on Thursday, September 20th from 5:00pm-7:00pm. The event will be hosted by Legends Bank, 2120 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. Business After Hours is offered to Chamber members at no cost.

On Tuesday, September 25th from 11:30am to 1:00pm there will be a Women In Business Luncheon at the Hilton Garden Inn, 290 Alfred Thun Road. Please join us as we welcome Kate Herman, Publisher and President of the award-winning Nashville Business Journal.

Under her leadership, the NBJ has seen a consistent increase in subscribers and Web followers over the past four years. Much is due in part to the networking programs and publications for the Nashville business community. Kate will bring her expertise to this event and share techniques and best practices necessary in this day and age to build those successful business relationships that last.

On Friday, September 28th, Tom Stellman from TIP Strategies will be presenting a seminar and roll out of the new Clarksville-Montgomery County Labor Study. This study will give current data pertaining to the available workforce in the community and surrounding region, as well as valuable information about existing industries in the area. This event will be at the Riverview Inn, 50 College Street at 11:30am.
