Rivers and Spires 2012 Miss River Queen and Miss River Teen Crowned at Austin Peay State University

Rivers and Spires Festival 2012Clarksville, TN – Tara Zolfagharbik has been named Miss River Queen 2012, while Caitlin Campbell will reign as the new Miss River Teen. The new title holders were crowned at the pageants held Saturday, March 24th at Austin Peay State University’s Clement Auditorium.

The pair will reign over the Rivers and Spires Festival in downtown Clarksville, April 19th-21st, making numerous appearances, signing autographs and participating in Festival events.

In October, they will also advance to the Miss Tennessee USA or Teen USA also held at APSU.

Contestants competed in three phases: swimsuit, evening gown and private interview. In the Miss River Queen pageant, Melissa O’Neil was named first runner-up and Katie Neely received second runner-up. For Miss River Teen, first runner-up was Harley Rose and Bailey Griffith was second runner-up.

The 10th Annual Rivers & Spires Festival, April 19th-21st in downtown Clarksville, is free and open to the public. The Festival features six stages of music and entertainment, arts and crafts, marketplace, food vendors, and activities for all ages. For more information, visit www.riversandspires.com.
