Clarksville Montgomery County School System HR Reorganization Introduces Educator Quality

January 6, 2012 | Print This Post

The Clarksville-Montgomery County School SystemMontgomery County, TN – When Bruce Jobe retired last month as the Chief Human Resources Officer, Schools Director Mike Harris named former HR Director Jeanine Chester as the new Chief and promoted former Assistant HR Director Cydney Miller to take over Mrs. Chester’s position. That left the group with the opportunity to reconfigure the open position into a staff member who would be dedicated to the hiring of quality teachers and school administrators.

Phyllis Casebolt, who has served as principal at Clarksville High for the past three years, will begin her duties this month as Director of Educator Quality.

“I am honored and humbled to be selected as the Director of Educator Quality. Serving the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System as an advocate for recruiting, selecting and retaining quality teachers, is truly a calling,” Mrs. Casebolt said. “This opportunity will empower me to positively impact the students of our district. Through my experiences as a teacher and administrator, I have witnessed the positive impact a quality teacher makes in a child’s life.”

Mrs. Casebolt began working in CMCSS in 1987 as an elementary teacher. She was the first principal of West Creek Middle School, and she served as assistant principal at Rossview High. Her elementary teaching experience in CMCSS was at Moore and Ringgold, and she taught at Richview Middle. She also has experience teaching at Thackston Elementary in Knoxville, TN.
