Clarksville Mayor appoints new Director of Communications

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan has selected Jennifer Rawls as the new Director of Communications and Public Information Officer.

“Jennifer brings a unique skill set to the job,” Mayor McMillan said. “She’s an attorney, she has led a State agency and she has great communication skills. I think she’s going to be an asset to our office and to Clarksville.”

Before joining the Mayor’s office, Rawls served as the Executive Director of the Tennessee Economic Council on Women. She was also Senior Counsel to the Tennessee Attorney General and was an associate attorney at Lewis, King, Krieg and Waldrop, PLLC in Knoxville.

“I know that Clarksville is experiencing tremendous growth and is routinely recognized nationally as one of the best places to live, work and raise a family. I’m very excited to be a part of the Clarksville community and I’m looking forward to this new opportunity,” Rawls said.
