Swan Lake City Golf Course to Reopen August 24th

Clarksville, TN – Swan Lake Golf Course will reopen to the public on August 24th, following the replacement of the course’s greens.

The municipal golf course closed on June 20th, and a Texas company began installing Championship Bermuda grass on the greens. The new grass is more heat tolerant and is widely used across the southern U.S.

“They’re looking good,” Swan Lake Manager Jeff Vaughn said of the new greens.

The 18-hole course at 581 Dunbar Cave Road will return to regular hours of 7:30am until dusk during the week and from 7:00am until dusk on weekends.

Vaughn said Swan Lake will now reserve tee times seven days in advance, so reservations for opening day can be made as early as August 17th.
