National Night Out 2011

Clarksville, TN – Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011, neighborhoods throughout Montgomery County, and Clarksville are being invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 28th Annual National Night Out.

National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support and participatiuon in local crime fighting efforts. They also help to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. Criminals are placed on notice that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back against crime.

Austin Peay State University Campus Police will be hosting their 2nd Annual National Night Out on August 2nd, 2011. The event will be held from 6:00pm to 9:00pm in the Governor’s Football Stadium. The event is one of over 15,000 to be held in all fifty states, US territorries, military bases around the world.
