Trinity Episcopal to hold annual Fall Festival November 5th
Clarksville, TN – International crafts and jewelry, cauldron-cooked Brunswick stew, a petting zoo and live music will combine for the seventh annual Fall Festival at Trinity Episcopal Church, 317 Franklin Street.
The event, coming Saturday, November 5th, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, this year expands on “Shopping With a Purpose.”
Trinity will also host Episcopal Relief & Development’s Gift of Life program, offering gifts that can be purchased in someone else’s name as a tribute. A purchase might to toward a chicken, a goat or even a milking cow for a needy family in a distressed part of the world.
Speaking of goats and cows, the petting zoo will be back this year, featuring animals ready to be fed and petted by tiny hands. Kids activities, with tickets sold at the door, will also include face painting, games of skill and more.
Brunswick stew, cooked live in wood-fired cauldrons, will be sold by the quart for take-home or by the bowl to enjoy on site, along with hot dogs, chips and the fixings.
Lunch music will be provided by talented members of Trinity Parish. Also featured will be a silent auction for specialty gift baskets, a raffle and more than 30 cakes in a cake walk.
Proceeds from the event will go to support Trinity Parish missions and activities.
