Magic Wheels Skate Center Introduces Create-Your-Own Fundraiser

Night provided to raise money for any need, no matter how small.

Clarksville, TN – A recent search for Clarksville, TN on GoFundMe.com revealed 1,837 instances where people in the community were reaching out to others for help. These are typically individual needs which have overwhelmed the financial abilities of the person in need.

“The need in our community is great,” said Billy Frye, Owner of Magic Wheels Skate Center. “I had to find a way to make a difference.”

Magic Wheels Skate Center is introducing a new concept in fundraising to Clarksville, Fort Campbell, and the surrounding communities. On Friday, June 26th, 2015 from 6:30pm – 11:00pm, Magic Wheels will donate 100% of the admission paid to the charity or GoFundMe need of their choice.

Each person coming through the door will be asked to provide the charity name, or provide enough information from a GoFundMe account so that we can identify it. Admission is $6.00, so if you can get 10 friends out to support you this night, it will help decrease your need by $60.00.

“Many in our community struggle financially. When asked to give to someone else, often they must choose between giving or providing one night out with their family each month. We are giving you the opportunity to have both a night out with your family, and contributing to a need in the community,” Frye said. Area charities are encouraged to rally those who support them to come out on this night and Skate for the Community.

Magic Wheels Skate Center has been serving Clarksville and Fort Campbell for 35 years and is located at 1671 Fort Campbell Boulevard, Clarksville, TN 37042.
