Clarksville Youth Guitar Ensemble to perform at Clarksville Montgomery County Public Library May 26th

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Youth Guitar Orchestra will premier their debut concert in the atrium of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library at 6:00pm May 26th.
Students ages 8 through 13 will be performing works from the Austin Classical Guitar Curriculum, the United States’ leaders in research on guitar education for youth.

The ensemble is composed of guitar students from the Mary’s Music Store guitar program and is directed by Vanessa Green, adjunct professor of guitar at Austin Peay State University.
APSU Guitar majors will also be participating in the event to help spread awareness of the many opportunities for guitar education in Clarksville.
