Elite Primary Care Clinic Receives Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certification
Montgomery County, TN – Elite Primary Care Clinic recently celebrated becoming a Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certified organization.
Montgomery County Chief of Staff Jeff Truitt, City of Clarksville and Chamber of Commerce President Melinda Shepherd were on hand to congratulate the medical professionals at Elite Primary Care Clinic.
She explained some of the initiatives they are taking. “We shred and recycle paper using recycle bins instead of trash bins, we have occupancy sensors in the building for lighting, reduce Styrofoam and water bottle use, replace paper gowns with washable ones, use energy set points, set copiers and computers to sleep modes, use central printing, reduced paper usage and have installed energy efficient bulbs.”
Truitt thanked Dr. Carlo Pike, Woodruff and his staff for taking the time and initiative to participate in the CMC Green Certification process. “Every change we make can make a difference.”
“It’s been a pleasure to participate and we look forward to doing more,” said Dr. Pike.
Elite Primary Care offers primary care medical services from birth to senior care. The clinic also offers lab and radiology ancillary services and has exceptional experience with pediatrics as well as caring for veterans with multiple medical issues.
