Montgomery County to hold Horseshoe Pits Grand Opening Ceremony Saturday

Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Government invites the public to the Grand Opening Ceremony for the Horseshoe Pits at Civitan Park on Saturday, June 8th at 9:00am.
The horseshoe pits are located on the backside of the baseball fields at Civitan Park, 650 Bellamy Lane. The ceremony will also include the rededication of the Marvin Smith Pavilion.

Following the ceremony, the Tennessee Horseshoe Pitchers Association will host an Open Sanctioned Tournament. This tournament will feature six-time World Champion Joan Elmore.
Registration begins at 10:00am, with the pitching beginning at 10:30am. For more information on the tournament or to qualify, contact Ronnie Boyd at 931.801.9939.
