Planters BankClarksville, TN – The Planters Bank-Hilldale Gallery will feature bird photography by David Magers and a mixed media exhibit titled, “Four Seasons” by Gabriele Wardeiner from Thursday, June 6th – Wednesday, July 3rd.

David Magers is a local photographic artist, specializing in bird images. After retiring from Caterpillar, Inc., David relocated to Clarksville from Peoria, IL, where he has more fully developed a life-long passion for photography.

His exhibit at Planters Bank will feature a variety of bird photos taken in and around Clarksville. David’s goal is to capture images of the charming creatures in their natural setting. As he says, “I hope these photos touch your emotions in a positive way and bring a quiet smile to your face.”

Gabriele Wardeiner took a few art lessons years ago, but she considers herself “mostly a self-taught artist.” She enjoys experimenting with various mediums and “rarely does things by the book.” Her love of trees in their bare winter dress drew her to draw and paint them in various mediums. She shows and sells art throughout the Clarksville.

Her “Four Seasons” exhibit includes works in color pencil, drawings on bark, and mixed media.

The Planters-Hilldale branch is located at 1971 Madison Street. The exhibit rotates the First Thursday of each month and is open to the public during regular bank hours: 8:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Thursday, and 8:30am-5:30pm, Friday.
