Austin Peay State University to hold peace walk, vigil for Boston Marathon

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University will hold a peace walk and candlelight vigil this week to honor those impacted by the Boston Marathon bombing attacks.
The public is invited to attend the event scheduled for Wednesday, April 24th. The peace walk will begin at 6:00pm and follow the one-mile route on the GovsTrail. Those wishing to participate should meet in the Morgan University Center plaza.

The vigil will begin at 7:30pm in MUC plaza. Attendees are welcome to bring flowers, letters, pictures and notes, but they will need to refrain from bringing candles.
The event will occur rain or shine. Parking is available behind the Foy Fitness and Recreation Center. All ages are invited.
