Riverfest Cornhole Tournament registration is underway

Clarksville, TN – The third annual Riverfest Cornhole tournament is excited to offer cash prizes for Riverfest’s 25th Anniversary! This event is intended to bring a little family friendly competition to Riverfest. Registration is limited to 30 teams.

Registration ends September 5th, 2012 so register today!

Who May Enter

Teams of two may enter. One person may not play for two different teams. You may only be entered under one team name. Inappropriate team names will be asked to change before tournament begins.

Where/When

Saturday, September 8th, 2012 at 1:00pm – McGregor Park

Tournament will be located at the McGregor Park North Extension (near Two Rivers Mall). Check-in will start at 12:30pm.

Tournament Entry

Teams can pre-register for tournament online at http://recpro.cityofclarksville.com. To register by mail or in person download the entry form.

Tournament is limited to 30 teams. First 30 teams to sign up are eligible to participate.

Tournament Set Up

Tournament will be double elimination. Times will be posted on site for approx. playing times

Scoring

• Bag In-The-Hole – 3 points
• Bag on the Board- 1 point
• No “leaners” or Bag over the hole scoring. It’s either in the hole for 3 points or 1 point for being on the board and not in the hole.
• Team with most points in the round scores the difference in round points, also referred to as cancellation scoring. For example, if at the end of the round Team A has 9 points and Team B has 6 points, the result of the round will be Team A scoring 3 points.
• First team to 21 wins after a finishing round wins.

• 1st place: $200.00 and gift from O’Charley’s
• 2nd place: $100.00 and gift from O’Charley’s
• 3rd place: $50.00 and gift from O’Charley’s
