Clarksville Parks and Recreation to host “Art on the Park” contest

Clarksville, TN – Art students, get those creative juices flowing! The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the “Art on the Park” contest sponsored in part by Bill Mace Homes, The Board Shop, Lowe’s, PPG Porter Paint, Valspar and Wal-mart.

The winner(s) of the art contest will receive a $100.00 gift card, their framed artwork and the opportunity to paint their design on various walls of the Heritage Park Skatepark!

Participants must be in grades 6-12 to be eligible. Artwork may use up to 6 colors, (both black and white do count as colors) and must be submitted to 102 Public Square on 11” x 17” size poster board.

Artwork must be submitted no later than 4:00 pm on September 20 and include name, grade, address, phone number and art teacher on the back. No offensive language, material or gang signs will be permitted.
