Rivers and Spires’ Miss River Queen and Miss River Teen pageant to be held this weekend

Clarksville, TN – The search is on for this year’s Miss River Queen and River Teen. The annual pageant will be held March 24th, 2012 in Clement Auditorium on the campus of Austin Peay State University. The pageant begins at 7:00pm, and doors open at 6:30pm.

Tickets are $10.00 per person and may be purchased at the door.

2011 River Queen Giselle Fontenot and River Teen Sarah Gross will be handing over their crowns to the new queens that night. The winners of the event will serve as ambassadors to the Rivers & Spires Festival, held in downtown Clarksville April 19th-21st.

They will available to sign autographs and will be a part of the Children’s Parade. The winners will also advance to the Miss Tennessee USA or Teen USA pageants to be held October 5th-6th, 2012 at APSU.
