Planters Bank to Accept Donations for Phoenix Program During December

Clarksville, TN – Planters Bank is partnering with the Life Center Foundation’s Phoenix Program to accept donations during the month of December.

Through Tuesday, December 27th, all five Planters branch offices will accept gloves, scarves, hat, underwear, socks, coats and jackets for ladies who are participating in the program.

Launched in Clarksville this fall, the Phoenix Program is a permanent supportive housing program for homeless and disabled women who have no safe place to go. A part of Clarksville’s Life Center Foundation, the local Phoenix Program offers 24-hour on-site staff, a monitored drug- and alcohol-free living environment, access to mainstream medical and mental health resources, counseling, as well as job and life skills classes.

Most importantly, the program strives to provide the structure, tools, and healing needed to allow each client to eventually live as independently as possible.

To donate items or to make a financial contribution, please visit any Planters Bank branch (325 Commerce Street, 1971 Madison Street, 894 Hwy. 76, 2019 Fort Campbell Boulevard, or 495 Dunlop Lane) Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:00pm or Friday 8:30am-5:30pm.
