City to host annual Chili Cook Off to benefit the United Way

Clarksville, TN – This Friday, October 28th, 2011, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, the City of Clarksville will host its annual department-wide Chili Cook Off to benefit the United Way. The event will take place in the lower level employee parking lot at City Hall located at One Public Square.

This year the Chili Cook Off has a total of 14 teams competing for top honors in the following categories: best chili, best side, best dessert and best showmanship. This event is open to the public. A $5.00 entry fee will be collected at the gate, with all proceeds benefiting the United Way.
