City officials are looking at options for subdivision drainage
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan met Thursday afternoon with Clarksville Street Department officials about drainage issues in Woodstock Subdivision.
After inspecting the situation at the subdivision Wednesday afternoon, Street Department staff members on Thursday explained the drainage issues there, as well as the complex history of the subdivision’s development.

Following the May 2010 flood, the city made some improvements that helped the drainage situation, but other options may need to be explored. Street Department officials are currently working with the Mayor’s Office to look at various options to further address the drainage issues during heavy and prolonged periods of rain.
