F&M Bank announces Kimberly Miller to head Treasury Solutions

Clarksville, TN – F&M Bank has hired Kimberly Miller as VP/Treasury Solutions Officer. Miller has a decade of working in the financial services industry. Her previous experiences include bank partner development with focuses on small business, commercial, mortgage, treasury management, and merchant services.
Miller attended Western Kentucky University. She is an active member of several local non-profit and professional organizations.

Clarksville, TN – The next meeting of the Clarksville (TN) Civil War Roundtable will be on Wednesday, November 15th, 2017 at the Bone & Joint Center, 980 Professional Park Drive, right across the street from Tennova Healthcare. This is just off Dunlop Lane and Holiday Drive and only a few minutes east of Governor’s Square mall.
The meeting begins at 7:00pm and is always open to the public. Members please bring a friend or two – new recruits are always welcomed.

APSU alumni Lynn Von Hagen pursues research opportunity in Kenya

Clarksville, TN – As a young person, Lynn Von Hagen dreamed of working with animals. She donated to conservation groups and gave her time and talents to Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary, a domestic animal rescue organization in Hendersonvillem TN.
However, as is the case for many people, Von Hagen was forced to postpone her dreams of pursuing studies in zoology, ecology and animal biology and concentrate on earning a living.
APSU appoints Dr. Raj Dakshinamurthy as new associate provost for research, dean of graduate studies

Clarksville, TN – Dr. Raj Dakshinamurthy has been appointed as an associate provost for research and dean of graduate studies at Austin Peay State University. In these dual roles, he will be responsible for promoting and expanding research and scholarship throughout the University, as well as providing strong direction and leadership in the College of Graduate Studies.
APSU Winter Commencement Ceremonies set for December 11th

Clarksville, TN – As a teenager, Lynn Von Hagen dreamed of working as a biologist in Africa. She raised money for conservation groups, like the World Wildlife Fund, and she often found herself staring at photographs of lions and elephants in the pages of National Geographic.
In the early 1990s, Hagen decided to enroll at Vol State Community College, but after earning her associate degree in 1993, she put her dream of becoming abiologist on hold.
