Non-profit organizations could earn $500 as Riverfest volunteers

Clarksville, TN – Is your non-profit organization looking to earn some cash? The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is offering a $500.00 cash prize to the non-profit organization that provides the most hours volunteered at Riverfest 2014.
Volunteers will be helping with soft drink sales on September 5th and 6th at McGregor Park. Any interested organizations should contact Bethany Benjamin at 931.645.7476 or bethany.benjamin@cityofclarksville.com to participate.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is excited to host the 2nd Annual Wonder Kids Triathlon to be held August 2nd!
This event is open to boys and girls ages 3-12 and will take place at New Providence Pool and surrounding area of 166 Cunningham Lane.
Clarksville’s Rivers and Spires Festival in need of Volunteers

Clarksville, TN – The award-winning Rivers and Spires Festival is a community driven event that is organized by hundreds of dedicated volunteers each year. But, in order to be successful, we need your support!
With over 600 volunteer positions to fill, there are still plenty of opportunities to get involved. If interested in volunteering, you can sign up and learn more at the pre-Festival meeting on April 16th at the lower level of the Capital Bank Building, 25 Jefferson Street.
Flourishing Families to host Family Fun Day Saturday, May 17th

Clarksville, TN – The 12th annual award-winning Rivers and Spires Festival, held in Historic Downtown Clarksville, Tennessee, is currently accepting applications for vendors, volunteers and entertainers.
The 2014 Festival will be held Thursday, April 24th through Saturday, April 26th. As in years past, Thursday night will have limited entertainment and concessions. The Family Fun Zone, with activities for toddlers to teens, will not be open until 5:00pm Friday night.

Clarksville, TN – The Two Rivers Chapter of the American Red Cross is hosting “Ante Up for the Red Cross” to be held on Saturday, November 9th from 6:00pm – 10:00pm.
