Heart Tribute Band Barracuda plays Downtown @ Sundown on October 15th

Downtown @Sundown Concert Series at Downtown Commons.Montgomery County, TN – Downtown @ Sundown’s last concert of the season will feature Barracuda-America’s Heart Tribute next Friday, October 15th, 2021  at Downtown Commons. Concert starts at 7:00pm.

Barracuda is America’s premier tribute to the famous rock band, Heart. The band is known for their monster vocals, brilliant musicianship and stellar performances recreating the songs of the 70s, 80s and 90s that are still loved by Heart fans around the world. Sing along as they play top hits such as: ‘Barracuda,’ ‘Crazy on You’ and many more!

Downtown @Sundown Concert Series at Downtown Commons.Montgomery County, TN – Downtown @ Sundown will feature local artists Emmalee and Nightmasters at this week’s concert at 7:00pm on Friday, May 21st at Downtown Commons.

The first artist to perform Friday evening is Emmalee along with her band. Emmalee was part of Kelly Clarkson’s Team on The Voice in 2020. Her debut single, Fearless, captures the heart of her love for pop music while simultaneously conveying a message of hope and empowerment.

Downtown @Sundown Concert Series at Downtown Commons.Montgomery County, TN – Kicking off the Downtown @ Sundown Concert Series on May 7th, 2021 at 7:00pm is the well-known country music band Parmalee.

The band has made six entries on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, with two number-one singles on the latter: “Carolina” in 2013, and “Just the Way“, a collaboration with Blanco Brown, in 2021.

Montgomery County announces Adult and Youth Governor’s Volunteer Stars Award Recipients

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Two Montgomery County residents were recognized in Franklin, Tennessee in February and again at the formal March County Commission meeting, because they were selected as the Montgomery County recipients of at the Governor’s Volunteer Stars Awards (GVSA).

The Governor’s Volunteer Stars Award is a statewide recognition program that was instituted by former Governor Phil Bredesen to honor and publicly recognize citizens in the adult and youth category from each county for their exemplary volunteer service to their community.

United Way Of Greater ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – DBO Gallery presents The Art of Giving, an upscale, live auction event featuring hand-selected artists, both local and out-of-state. United Way of Greater Clarksville Charity Golf Scramble Brings in $25,000

United Way Of Greater ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – The United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region’s third annual “Game Changer” Charity Golf Scramble presented by Legends Bank was held on Friday, September 20th, 2019 at the Clarksville Country Club. An estimated $25,000 was raised for United Way’s non-profit partner agency programs supporting our community.

According to United Way’s Executive Director, Valerie Guzman, “We want to thank everyone who supported this amazing event.”

The 2019 honorees are Outstanding Service Award recipients Dee Boaz and Shan Smith (’78); Outstanding Young Alumni Award recipients Catie Clinard (’11) and Bryan Johnson (’04); and Outstanding Alumni Award recipients Khandra Smalley (’05) and Richard Bibb (’65).
