By calling 931.896.2184 or walking in, veterans and their families can receive employment services, health service and benefits navigation, counseling services, legal consultations coordination, and housing assistance.
Served areas include Cheatham County, Davidson County, Dickson County, Montgomery County, Robertson County, Rutherford County, Sumner County, Trousdale County, Williamson County and Wilson County.
Daymar College Play-A-Thon set for July 23rd

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University, which turns 90 next year, recently experienced a late growth spurt. Earlier this week, the campus grew by about 10 acres when the school finally closed on property previously owned by the Jenkins and Wynne auto dealership.
The $8.8 million purchase marks one of the largest expansions in the University’s history, and it now connects the 182-acre College Street campus with downtown Clarksville.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Support cancer patients and others needing blood
Clarksville, TN – During Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, the American Red Cross encourages eligible donors to give blood to support cancer patients and others needing blood products.
According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the U.S., with one in eight developing invasive breast cancer in her lifetime. Breast cancer patients may need blood products during chemotherapy, mastectomy surgery or treatment of complications.
Northeast High School Girls Track to host evening with 3x Olympian Deedee Trotter

Clarksville, TN – The Northeast High School Lady Eagles Track Team will be hosting 3x Olympian, Deedee Trotter for a speaking engagement on Friday November 13th, 2015 at the school’s gymnasium starting at 6:00pm.
Ms. Trotter has participated in the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Olympics. She has won 2 gold medals as a member of the 4x400m relay and a bronze medal in the 400m dash. She is currently training to make her 4th U.S. Olympic Team that will represent the country in Rio, Brazil in August 2016.
