Clarksville, TN – The wait is over Clarksville, Arby’s is opening! On Monday, December 2nd, 2019, Clarksville residents are invited to come out and celebrate the opening of the new Arby’s® restaurant, located at 3920 Trenton Road, Clarksville, TN 37040.
The restaurant will open at 10:00am and the first 50 guests on opening day will receive FREE Arby’s food for a Year.

5th Annual Northeast High School Band Craft Fair set for December 8th

Clarksville, TN – Come out this Saturday, December 8th, 2018 for the 5th Annual Northeast High School Band Craft Fair.
It will be held at the high school gymnasium. Doors will open at 9:00am and will go on until 3:00pm.
The NEHS Band has lots of vendors and crafter very anxious to show you all of their great products. Come on out and get your Christmas shopping finished with very unique and handmade items.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation to take part in Summer Food Service Program

Meals to be served at Summer Youth Program sites
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is participating in the Summer Food Service Program throughout the duration of the City’s Summer Youth Program.
At 14 of the 15 program sites (all sites excluding Crow Recreation Center) meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, and reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service (not all prohibited bases apply to all programs).
City of Clarksville seeks Input on Tylertown/Oakland project

City to conduct meeting March 15th at Oakland Elementary
Clarksville, TN – Area residents are invited to attend a public meeting about the City’s plan to improve and widen Tylertown and Oakland roads in Northeast Clarksville.
The meeting, hosted by the Clarksville Street Department, will be from 6:00pm-7:30pm Thursday, March 15th at Oakland Elementary School, 1050 Cherry Blossom Lane, Clarksville.
APSU hosting ribbon-cutting ceremony for new Jenkins Building on October 6th

Clarksville, TN – Last February, the Austin Peay State University Office of University Advancement relocated to 318 College Street, marking the beginning of APSU’s expansion into downtown Clarksville.
At 2:00pm, on Friday, October 6th, 2017 the University will officially celebrate this milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the campus’ new Jenkins Building, home of University Advancement. The ceremony will take place at 416 College Street.
USS LST-325 arrives in Clarksville Wednesday, September 6th

Clarksville, TN – The USS LST-325, 328-foot-long landing ship tank, will arrive in Clarksville on Wednesday, September 6th, 2017. The ship’s arrival in Clarksville is one of the many activities that are part of Visit Clarksville’s Welcome Home Veterans Celebration.
The LST-325 will be open for tours beginning at 9:00a.m. on Thursday, September 7th through 5:00pm Friday, September 15th. The LST will depart from Clarksville on Saturday, September 16th, 2017.
Welcome Home Veterans Parade Planned for September 16th

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s third annual Welcome Home Veterans parade is scheduled for Saturday, September 16th, 2017 at 10:00am in historic downtown.
“Originally created to honor Vietnam Veterans, the parade now a tribute by Vietnam Veterans to all American Heroes. This is a day for families, friends and all citizens to salute the service and sacrifices made by America’s Military,” said Visit Clarksville Board Chairman Jerry Allbert.
