Clarksville, TN – Adults fifty years of age and older can register now through Friday, May 6th for the Clarksville Parks and Recreation 50+ Olympics.
The 50+ Olympics encourages participants to maintain an active lifestyle and continued participation in sports and recreational activities. No experience is necessary!

Austin Peay State University’s The All State to Host 2016 Southeast Journalism Conference

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University will host the 2016 Southeast Journalism Conference (SEJC) February 18th-20th, 2016. Jake Lowary, APSU student publications adviser/The Leaf-Chronicle News Director, will serve as SEJC President until the 2017 host school is announced during this year’s conference.
Acuff Circle of Excellence Ovation Awards nominations now being excepted

Clarksville, TN – The coveted Acuff Circle of Excellence Ovation Awards in the arts will be presented March 6th, 2016, but nominations already are being sought.
The Circle, a non-profit organization affiliated with the Austin Peay State University Foundation, is a patron society of the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts. The awards have been presented since 1996.
