After Thanksgiving Hikes at Dunbar Cave State Park, Port Royal State Historic Park

Clarksville, TN – Skip the Black Friday shopping and join Dunbar Cave State Park and Port Royal State Historic Park on the day after Thanksgiving for a post-holiday hike with family and friends.
Dunbar Cave State Park has been a State Park since 1973. The cave and its surrounding 110 acres have considerable scenic, natural and historical significance. The entrance offered shelter to prehistoric Native Americans as far back as 10,000 years.
Dunbar Cave State Park’s hike will begin at 9:00am. Port Royal State Historic Park will start their hike at 10:00am.

Clarksville, TN – Walk Bike Clarksville members will set up from 9:00am to noon on Saturday, November 30th, 2019 at the corner of First Street and Franklin Street for Shop Small Saturday to share some hot chocolate in campfire mugs and speak to downtown shoppers about walkability.

Mark and Ricki Holleman proudly present “A Christmas Carol: The Musical” at the Roxy Regional Theatre, opening Thursday, November 28th, at 7:00pm.
In keeping with the theatre’s traditional pay-what-you-can opening night, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular price will go on sale at 6:30pm that evening for a $5.00 minimum donation. Due to the double casting of children in the production, a second pay-what-you-can night will be held at 7:30pm on Friday, November 29th.

Nashville, TN – Tennessee State Parks will offer free, guided hikes at all 56 state parks the day after Thanksgiving, November 23rd, 2018. Dunbar Cave State Park will be holding an “After Thanksgiving Hike” Wednesday.
“Tennessee’s state parks are once again offering the opportunity to get outdoors the day after Thanksgiving to engage in healthy, fun activities,” said Brock Hill, deputy commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. “It’s a chance to explore the state parks with loved ones around the holidays, with skilled rangers leading the way.”
