Montgomery County Animal Care and Control waves adoption fees through February 18th

Montgomery County, TN -Montgomery County Animal Care and Control is waiving adoption fees during the week of Valentine’s Day (February 13th-18th) to help unite pets with their sweethearts. Animals who are already spayed or neutered can go home for $12.00. Adoption fees will be waived for the entire week.
In addition, a discounted microchipping event will be held Saturday, February 18th from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Montgomery County Animal Care and Control receives PetSmart Grant

Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control is pleased to be the recipient of a $10,000.00 PetSmart Charities grant. This grant provides emergency medical funds for the 56 dogs that were rescued from a house fire in November.
“PetSmart Charities continues to be a great partner and supporter of our facility,” stated Animal Control Director Jeanette Farrell.
Montgomery County Animal Care and Control to hold Home for the Paw-lidays Saturday, December 10th

Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) invites the public to come to their Home for the Paw-lidays event on Saturday, December 10th! Adoption hours will be 10:00am to 3:00pm and all adoptions are $25.00 and include vaccinations, spay/neuter, deworming and microchip.
Dog adoption fees are being sponsored by Tails for Trails and cats adoption fees are being sponsored by the Potvin family.
Montgomery County Animal Care and Control hosts “Be A Super Hero … and Adopt!” on October 29th

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, October 29th, 2016, Montgomery County Animal Care and Control will hold “Be A Super Hero … and Adopt!” event from 10:00am until 3:00pm.
All adoption fees will be waived in memory of Scotti Reif Jr., a true superhero and pet lover. Please share and encourage everyone to adopt and be a superhero like Scotti.
Lowe’s Heroes Teams Up with Montgomery County Animal Care and Control

Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) is pleased to partner with the Madison Street Lowe’s for the store’s annual Lowe’s Heroes Project.
On September 28th, 29th and 30th, MCACC will be taken over by Lowe’s Heroes employee volunteers and other community volunteers that wish to join in. Work includes interior facility painting, exterior wood staining, landscaping and outside kennel roofing.
Montgomery County Animal Care and Control to host Tales for Tails Events in July

Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control will host a Tales for Tails event each Thursday throughout July, at 10:30am, at their facility, 616 North Spring Street.
Children are invited to come listen to stories read by volunteers while cuddling cats and kittens awaiting adoption.
Stories are appropriate for elementary ages, but all ages are welcome.
Montgomery County Animal Care and Control receives PetSmart grants

Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control is pleased to have been chosen for two grants from PetSmart Charities, totaling nearly $18,000.
The first grant for $7,650.00 will be used for shelter improvements and to benefit the animals in the care of Animal Control.
The second grant is for 12 pallets of puppy and dog food, worth $10,295.77.

The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County is offering free spay/neuter surgeries for any pit bull (or obvious mix) adopted from Montgomery County Animal Care and Control during the month of February. This is open to the first 25 adopted and is provided through leftover funds from their annual Pit Bull Awareness event. [Read more]
Montgomery County Animal Care and Control to host Kinessa Johnson today

Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control will host famed African wildlife activist Kinessa Johnson on Saturday, October 17th, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at their facility, 616 North Spring Street.
For a donation to Montgomery County Animal Care and Control (dog/cat food, bedding, toys, money, etc.) Kinessa will autograph and give participants a free 8×10 photograph.
