APSU announces 2019 Candlelight Ball Award winners

Clarksville, TN – Earlier this year, the Austin Peay State University Office of Alumni Relations announced the recipients of the 2019 Candlelight Ball Awards.
The Wendell H. Gilbert Award will go to Dr. Jeannie Beauchamp, who established Clarksville Pediatric Dentistry in 1999, and the Spirit of Austin Peay Award will go to Len Rye, a residential contractor who specializes in custom homes.
Nominations Open for Clarksville Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards

Clarksville, TN – The Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for three annual awards: The Ted A. Crozier Sr. Community Commitment Award, Boots to Suits: Veteran of the Year and Young Professional of the Year.
Nominations must be received at the Chamber by Friday, April 7th 3027 and winners will be announced at the Chamber’s Annual Gala on Tuesday, May 9th.
APSU Foundation selects new members to serve for 2014

Clarksville Pediatric Dentistry achieves Green Certification

Montgomery County, TN – The latest business to become Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certified is Clarksville Pediatric Dentistry, located at 2297 Rudolphtown Road. A few examples of their initiatives include increasing their recycling by 25 percent, adding all recyclable items to be recycled.
They have also reduced waste by cutting all paper notifications that were sent via mail by 75 percent and using email notifications instead. By reducing waste and increasing their recycling, their office is using 192 fewer garbage bags per month.

Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce announces new board

The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2010-2011 Chamber Board of Directors. The Chamber elects new leadership each fiscal year, with the fiscal year running from July 1st, 2010 to June 30th, 2011. The board of directors, executive committee and ex-officio members of the board attend quarterly meetings, provide direction for Chamber staff and volunteers, and manage the finances of The Chamber.
