This weeks highlights include: Clarksville Independence Day Celebration, Rally on the Cumberland and Wonder Kids Triathlon.
City’s Independence Day Celebration takes place July 3rd

Clarksville, TN – City of Clarksville will celebrate our nation’s independence this year with the ninth annual Independence Day Celebration on Sunday, July 3rd, 2016 at Liberty Park. The event is free and open to the public.
Activities and music will begin at 6:00pm Seating is available throughout the park and the concerts will take place on the Great Lawn of the Wilma Rudolph Event Center. Concessions are for sale throughout the park.
Harper Greene Benefit Supper and Singing to be held Saturday, April 2nd

Cunningham, TN – On Saturday, April 2nd, 2016, a Benefit Supper and Singing will be held for Harper Greene at Montgomery Central Elementary School from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
Harper Greene was diagnosed in December, 2015 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at the age of 2. He is the son of Nick and Chasidy Greene.
Cunningham Volunteer Fire Department to hold Annual Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, March 19th

Cunningham, TN – This Saturday, March 19th, 2016, the Cunningham Volunteer Fire Department will be holding their Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Montgomery Central Middle School. There will be fun games beginning at 9:30am.
The Easter Egg hunt will begin at 10:00am.

Manna Café Ministries “Manna Madness” is going on now

Clarksville, TN – Manna Café Ministries announces Manna Madness, a 31-day event to raise awareness about and take action against hunger in the Clarksville area. The past few weeks have caused many Montgomery County workplaces to close, and, as a result, people have less money to put food on the table.
For the entire month of March, Manna Café will be collecting food and monetary donations to ensure we have enough food on our shelves to meet the needs in our community.
Road Closures Announced For 2014 Go Commando Half Marathon Powered by CDE Lightband

Clarksville, TN – Road closures for this weekend have been announced for the 4th Annual Go Commando Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Fun Run, powered by CDE Lightband.
The following streets will experience intermittent delays from 7:00am to 11:30am on Saturday, October 18th.

106th annual Lone Oak Picnic takes place this Saturday, July 26th in Cunningham Tennessee

Cunningham, TN – All are welcome at the 106th annual Lone Oak Picnic, Saturday July 26th, 10:00am to 3:00pm, presented by Central Civitan Club.
Come to enjoy entertainment, meet candidates for public office, and purchase excellent chicken and pork barbecue. The picnic grounds are located between Hwy 13 and Alonzo Place in Cunningham, TN.
Parking is off of Alonzo Place. Admission is free.
