Fright on Franklin this Saturday

Clarksville, TN – The 3rd Annual Fright on Franklin, presented by City of Clarksville and Planter’s Bank, will once again offer safe trick-or-treating.
Local businesses will line the streets in Downtown Clarksville on Saturday, October 29th to pass out candy.
Fright on Franklin activities will begin at 4:00pm with the Costume Contest kicking off at 5:00pm.
Make sure to come out early to enjoy all the fun!

Clarksville and Montgomery County Hosting 52nd Annual Christmas Parade

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville has partnered with the Montgomery County Government this year to co-host the 52nd Annual Christmas Parade. The parade will be a night-time, lighted Christmas parade and is scheduled for December 3rd starting at 5:00pm.
Gateway to Stardom gets Reprieve

Clarksville, TN – The Gateway to Stardom Talent Show that was rained out at Riverfest has been given a new performance date and venue.
On Saturday, October 22nd from 1:00pm to 7:00pm on Strawberry Alley, you will see all of the talent contestants vying for the $2,500 cash prize awarded by Daymar Institute. National Talent Scouts will be part of the judges for these talented young performers. [Read more]
Calling All Prospective Cratchit Children: Auditions for A CHRISTMAS CAROL at the Roxy Regional Theatre on October 24th

Clarksville, TN – Local youth will have the opportunity to work alongside professional actors in A CHRISTMAS CAROL when the Roxy Regional Theatre holds auditions for the Cratchit children on Monday, October 24th, at 5:00pm.
The Roxy will be selecting multiple casts of the Cratchit children: Martha, Peter, Belinda and Tiny Tim. Interested auditionees do not need to prepare anything. A script will be provided for the audition, so they must be able to read. [Read more]

Couture Crush a new style icon
Clarksville, TN – Kaley Drew, a current APSU senior and Clarksville native, is launching a new fashion boutique in Historic Downtown Clarksville. Couture Crush is set to be the leader in fashion for women’s clothing in Clarksville and will feature clothing, accessories and much more.
Most girls Kaley’s age are still trying to figure out what they want to be when they grow up, but Kaley has known since she was little. “When I was 9, I began a small cottage business called “Girlfriends Forever”. I made jewelry and fashion accessories and sold them at a local craft fair,” remembers Kaley. As she grew older, her entrepreneurial spirit remained, as did her love for fashion. All this comes together to create Couture Crush.
Dog Days and Pet Walk this Saturday

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, October 1st, 2001, local residents, visitors and their pets are invited to join the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County and other pet-related vendors and organizations for the Annual Fall Dog Days.

6th Annual ‘Frolic on Franklin’ Showcases 30 Artists from Region

Clarksville, TN – Downtown Clarksville’s 6th annual celebration of the arts, “Frolic on Franklin” will take place Saturday, September 17th. Hosted by the Downtown Clarksville Association, the event will showcase the works of 30 local and regional artists along the 100 block of historic Franklin Street.
A variety of original artwork and crafts will be on display including jewelry, pottery, water colors, woodwork, ceramics, glass items, photography and more. Items will be for sale with prices ranging from $2.00 – $2,000. Several artists will also provide demonstrations of their work throughout the day including painting and decorating glass ornaments, making wooden items with lathes, and various types of painting.
15th Annual International Festival this Sunday

Clarksville, TN – Immaculate Conception Catholic Church is holding their 15th Annual International Festival Sunday, August 21st from 12:30pm to 5:00pm. This is a city-wide gathering to celebrate the various and rich cultures and heritages found in our community.
Over 15 countries will be represented through food, drink, and entertainment.
