APSU adding downtown parking options for public

Clarksville, TN – In an effort to meet public demand for Downtown Clarksville parking, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) Parking Office has opened parking lots at Fourth and Main streets for public use.

Clarksville, TN – We made it! As you attend the first week of classes at Austin Peay State University (APSU), remember a few things:
Mask distribution: On Monday and Tuesday, APSU cloth masks will be distributed in numerous areas across campus. You can find masks on tables at the entrances to academic buildings, at the ASK ME tents, in the Morgan University Center and at Public Safety.
APSU’s Ann Ross Bookstore now ties campus with downtown community

Clarksville, TN – After years of being hidden away inside of campus, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) Ann Ross Bookstore now has a more prominent home at the corner of College and Fourth streets in downtown Clarksville. The University officially opened the new, 13,000-square-foot location in late June, providing more space for merchandise and greater community access.

SpiritFest offers Fun, Family-Friendly Activities before Christmas Parade

Clarksville, TN – The Fifth Annual SpiritFest – a holiday event from 2:00pm – 5:00pm on Saturday, December 7th – will offer a bounty of free activities, including visits with Santa Claus, rides on the Express Bus, four kids’ inflatables, live music on the new Downtown Commons stage, ice skating, art and gift markets, food trucks and a live nativity with animals.

High Roller Criterium Bicycle Series Comes to Downtown Clarksville

Clarksville, TN – Visit Clarksville and Riverside Bicycle Racing announce Clarksville’s first High Roller Criterium, or crit, will take place on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 in historic downtown Clarksville.
A criterium, or crit, is a bike race consisting of several laps around a closed circuit, the length of each lap or circuit ranging from about 500 to 1000 meters. In Clarksville’s case, the course is a flat four-corner course, .8 miles in length, with tight turns around Franklin Street, Public Square, Main Street and Fourth Street.
Spring 2018 AP Day for prospective APSU students is February 3rd

Clarksville, TN – High school students interested in knowing more about attending Austin Peay State University are encouraged to visit campus during Spring 2018 AP Day on Saturday, February 3rd.
During AP Day, prospective students can tour campus, meet with academic departments and student organizations and hear from important offices such as admissions, housing and financial aid.
Pre-Parade SpiritFest Promises Fun, Family-Friendly Activities

Clarksville, TN – The 3rd Annual SpiritFest, a holiday event from 2:00pm until 5:00pm on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017, will offer a bounty of free activities, including visits with Santa Claus, rides on the International Express Bus, four kids’ inflatables, live music on the new Downtown Commons stage, ice skating, art and gift markets, food trucks and a live nativity with animals.
It will start three hours before Clarksville’s 58th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade, which will pass by its location in Historic Downtown Clarksville.
